Cultural Venues Programmer
Location: The Tolbooth Jail Wynd Stirling, FK8 1DE
Salary: £37,014 – £39,171 per year
Contract Type: Permanent

Stirling Council is recruiting for a Cultural Programmer to join our Culture and Events Team. The Cultural Venues Programmer will work with the Artistic Director to manage, develop and grow the artistic and cultural programmes across Stirling Council’s venues, in line with our cultural ambitions. They will primarily work on the programme for the Tolbooth and The Albert Halls, but also wider Stirling Council events where required across Stirling.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for music and live events who is looking to develop a career in Events and Music Programming, to work with our Artistic Director & Venues Manager. You will be responsible for bringing a creative approach on how to optimise our various venue spaces, to deliver an authentic, exciting, vibrant and commercially viable programme.

Cultural Venues Creative Learning & Music Development Officer

Hours: 21 hours per week

Stirling Council is recruiting for a Creative Learning Officer to join our Culture and Events Team. The Officer will lead on Creative Learning and Music Development for our vibrant venues Tolbooth Stirling & Stirling’s Albert Halls. They will be responsible for developing and delivering meaningful learning and participation activities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
This will involve leading on our creative learning opportunities, as well as our youth music offering and support for the local music scene. The Officer will develop and maintain relationships with arts development agencies and funders as required, and will be responsible for writing funding applications and managing budgets.
A passion for music and the arts is a must and the person in question should have the knowledge and flexibility to work with a range of genres. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for adults & Children.
