Breed Media, born in Sheffield in 2007 and a proud member of the Key Production Group, is ecstatic to be the official vinyl manufacturing partner of Record Store Day 2023. Meet The 2023 Judges
- Dan Smith – Frontman of Bastille, the driving force behind the double Grammy-nominated, and Brit award-winning band known for their acclaimed UK Number 1 albums and billions of streams.
- Karen Emanuel – CEO and Founder of Key Production Group. A visionary who rose from booking bands at Leeds University to establishing Key Production, a leader in music production. An environmental advocate, she’s also the mind behind the sustainable luxury hotel Jicaro Island.
- Nadia Khan – The award-winning founder of CTRL Music and Women in CTRL, she also chairs AIM (Association of Independent Music). Nadia has a two-decade legacy in music and was awarded for her Outstanding Contribution at the Music Week ‘Women in Music Awards’ in 2021.
- Martin Black – The passionate owner of Spinning Discs, Sheffield’s popular independent record shop, celebrating music’s integral role in life’s defining moments.
- Eva Davies – The energetic Label Manager at Come Play With Me. She juggles artist management while also being a DJ and advocate for creating safe music spaces, winning accolades like Youth Music’s Young Entrepreneur Award.
How to Enter:
1. Submit just ONE video, up to TWO minutes long, introducing your music (welcoming all genres!).
2. Ensure you are unsigned with original material.
3. You must be 16 or above, and a UK resident. Those below 18 require parental or guardian consent.
4. Complete the form and include a YouTube link to your song.
