OPPORTUNITY: OFF THE RECORD 2024 EVENT

Off The Record returns to Edinburgh on Saturday 24th February, offering a full day event of talks, workshops and advice from experts in the music world, aimed at young musicians and anyone aged 16-25 looking to get into the music industry.

 

This year the programme includes sessions on:

  • Releasing Music & DSP Pitching with EmuBands: Learn how to get your music on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
  • How To Get Funding For Your Work: Find out about grants and support from UK Funding Organisations for new musicians.
  • Working In Music: Get career advice from music industry experts.
  • Highway To Health: Mental & Physical Health In Music: Discover how to stay healthy in the music business.
  • DJs & Club Nights: How To Get Started: Hear from seasoned DJs on making a start in DJing.
  • Organising & Getting Gigs: Learn how to book gigs, understand payment, and promote your shows.

 

Tickets cost £5 and include access to the entire programme, workshops, and one-on-one meetings.

 

Limited bursaries for tickets and travel are available to young people across Scotland. This is a great chance to meet experts and get valuable insights into the music industry.
