SXSW London Announces 2026 Music Jury Panel

SXSW London has announced the members of its 2026 Music Jury, including our CEO and Creative Director Robert Kilpatrick. The panel brings together nearly 100 professionals from across the global music industry who will help select artists for the festival’s apply to play stages.

The jury will review submissions from artists who applied to perform at SXSW London, helping identify the emerging and breakthrough acts set to take to stages across the festival in June.

Members of the jury represent a wide cross-section of the international music ecosystem, with professionals working across artist management, live programming, broadcasting, A&R, media, festivals and cultural organisations. Organisations represented include Universal Music Group, Tileyard, KOKO, Village Underground, the Association of Independent Music and BBC Studios, among others.

SXSW London will take place from 1-6 June 2026, bringing together music, technology, film and the creative industries through a programme of performances, talks, screenings and industry events. The festival takes place across East London, with a campus centred around Shoreditch and venues clustered around the Truman Brewery.

Launched in 2025, the inaugural edition welcomed more than 25,000 attendees across 34 venues, featuring over 500 sessions, 110 screenings and performances from more than 500 artists, alongside a programme of networking events and industry activity spanning the creative industries.

Artists selected through the apply to play programmes will perform at showcases across SXSW London as part of the festival’s wider music programme. Applications for the 2026 programme have now closed, with the selected artists expected to be announced later this year.
