SXSW – the annual music, film, and interactive conference/festival in Austin, Texas – have announced the second round of artists to perform for the festival, which will be held via livestream this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The lineup for 2021 features a range of acts from Scotland including Dead Pony, Memes, Kapil Seshasayee, The Dunts, Fatherson, Lucia, The Ninth Wave, Paws, Rascalton, Saint Phnx and The Snuts.
Music industry conference and showcase body Wide Days present the Official Wide Days Scottish Showcase for the first time, with Dead Pony, Memes and Kapil Seshasayee all performing as part of the digital event.
SXSW announced the first round of artists to perform during the music portion last month. SXSW Music 2021 will be held on March 16-20, with artists performing remotely in venues from their home countries.
