The Young Women’s Movement is looking for two trustees from anywhere in Scotland to join their Board of Trustees.
You will:
- Shape the direction of women’s leadership & gender equality in Scotland (and globally as part of the world’s largest women’s movement)
- Scope for personal development
- Help raise awareness of issues that affect young women
- Be part of the only Board in Scotland that puts young women leaders first
What’s involved:
- The Board is responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall strategic and governance direction of YWCA Scotland – The Young Women’s Movement
- A reasonable time commitment of 6 Board meetings per year (weekday evenings)
- A commitment to shared values and objectives of the organisation
- A basic disclosure check is required. Please note: your past experience might not necessarily limit you from involvement
