Heel Toe Promotions are hosting a Meet The Industry Event – a student ran all-inclusive day of live music performances, trade stalls, networking opportunities, and music industry panels. Taking place Sunday 30th April 12pm-6pm at Princes House in Glasgow, all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Clutha Trust.
Offering a “pay what you can” ticketing system, the event provides an exciting opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in the music industry, network with professionals, and support a great cause.
Meet The Industry Panels
The event is hosting several informative panels, covering a range of music industry tops related to the music industry, providing attendees with valuable insights and knowledge:
- Music & Education: discussing music industry further education prospects with lecturers and students from both the University of the Highlands & Islands and New College Lanarkshire.
- Women In Music: will provide a platform for talented women in the industry, to share their insights and experience, including representatives from Girls Rock School Edinburgh, Emma Edwards (Journalist), and Christie Oliver (Musician).
- Getting Your Music Out There: an opportunity to learn more tips and tricks about promoting your music to a wider audience from Steven Hill (Struggletown Records), Mya Brown (Discovery Music), and representatives from L’ode Rose PR.
- Live Music: will cover all aspects of the events industry, featuring Ben Walker (Musician), Gareth Gonet (B12 Entertainment) alongside George McFadyen (Crowded Flat), and Ewan MacDonald (Scottish Alternative Music Awards).
