Sub Club opened in 1987 and is the longest running club in Scotland, residing on Glasgow’s busy Jamaica Street. It has been home to some of the world’s most exciting DJs and artists over its 32 years and they have consistently supported local talent from across the country, being voted the UK’s Best Small Club over a number of years for DJ Mag as well as gaining worldwide acknowledgement and support from online music magazine Resident Advisor amongst others.
Managing Director Mike Grieve has been in the scene since the early 80s and joined Sub Club as manager in 1994 before stepping up to become co-owner and MD in 2002, and has been a part of the club’s journey for the past 25 years.
