The SMIA Summit 2024 took place on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September as a free, two-day online conference exploring the future of Scotland’s music industry.
Bringing together voices from across the sector – including artists, managers, labels, policymakers and more – the Summit featured keynote presentations and panel discussions covering some of the most pressing issues facing the industry today.
Sessions are now available to watch on demand, covering topics such as economic impact and investment, the role of technology, regional development, inclusion, fair work, gender discrimination and international growth.
Each session offers insight, provocation and practical steps to support the ongoing development of a fairer, stronger and more sustainable music industry in Scotland.
The SMIA Summit will return in 2025 with new sessions, speakers and sector-wide conversations. Sign-up to the SMIA as a member (for free!) to find out more.
