The Youth Music NextGen Fund is a pioneering grant designed to empower and propel the aspirations of young musical creatives across the UK. The focus is on championing the innovative ideas of budding musicians and industry talents, ensuring financial constraints don’t deter their ambitions.
Purpose of the Funds
- Financial support up to £2,500 to bring musical projects and concepts to fruition.
- Foster the growth of early-stage musicians and other industry creatives.
- Address the financial barriers that hinder progress in the musical journey.
- Cultivate the next generation of the music industry, from artists to managers and beyond.
Eligibility Criteria
Youth Music invites applications from:
- Individuals aged 18–25 (and up to 30 for those identifying as d/Deaf or Disabled).
- Residents of England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland.
- Those passionate about shaping the future of music, from Singers and Rappers to A&Rs and Producers.
Application & Awarding Sequence
- Stage 1: Fill out the application form available online.
- Stage 2: Assessment based on the creative vision, project feasibility, and alignment with the fund’s objectives.
- Stage 3: Successful candidates will be granted funds to drive their musical ventures forward.
Fund Allocation
Grants of up to £2,500 per applicant.
