EVENT: Make Music Day Scotland meet up

Calling anyone and everyone interested in music in Scotland. Join our online meet-up @ 10am, 28 April to find out how to get involved in the global celebration Make Music Day on 21 June.

“Music will be everywhere and the concert will be nowhere”

– French Ministry of Culture (established Make Music Day in 1982)

Anyone can perform on Make Music Day, it is totally different from your average music festival. It’s a DIY event where participants organise their own gig, or join organisations that are creating activity for Make Music Day. Everyone is invited to be part of this global celebration of music making.

There are only three conditions for your event to be part of the Make Music Day programme.

*It must be free to the public
*It has to be music (of any kind)
*It needs to be performed (or digitally broadcast) on 21 June

Make Music Day 2022 will take place in over 120 countries, live and online. Created locally, shared globally – connecting people to the world’s largest DIY festival of music.
