About The Session:
Join us for an in conversation session with Dr. Diljeet Bhachu, exploring intent versus outcome and how we can approach accountability when things go wrong.
We’ll spend an hour exploring the relationship between intention and impact, and how we respond when someone has been called in or called out.
The conversation will consider questions including:
- What does it look like to acknowledge an outcome without becoming defensive?
- How can we move past explaining intent and towards repair?
- How can accountability become an ongoing practice rather than a quick response when something goes wrong?
- How can organisations build the confidence and capacity to approach difficult conversations more constructively?
The session will include approximately one hour of conversation, followed by up to 30 minutes for audience questions.
Participants are welcome to bring their own questions, reflections and experiences. There is no requirement to contribute during the session.
