The Scottish Music Centre and New Music Scotland have partnered to become the official Scottish Section of the International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) and invite composers to submit their scores for World New Music Days (WNMD) Shanghai & Nanning 2021.
The ISCM is an international network of members from around fifty countries, devoted to the promotion and presentation of new and contemporary music.

ISCM World New Music Days festival is an annual international showcase of new music representing contemporary work from across the globe. The 2021 World Music Days Festival 2021 takes place in Shanghai (17-20 September) and Nanning (21-25 September), China.
There are 12 categories for which submissions are invited to be presented at the festival. You can submit works by sending a PDF version of the score plus an audio or video recording of the work (if available), or audio/video documentation if the work does not have a written score.

- Download and the ISCM Scottish Section Application Form
- Return the completed application form and the accompanying files to karen@newmusicscotland.co.uk
