Creative Scotland are looking for a communications professional to join a busy team and support their work in delivering an effective marketing, design and enquiries service for the organisation.
The role sits with the Marketing Team and working with the Marketing Manager you will help coordinate the delivery of design work through both in-house and external design services – along with the production of marketing and print materials. Alongside this you will also support wider activity across the Communications Directorate, working on communications campaigns, events and other key projects, and will also support the delivery of our frontline enquiries service.
The ideal candidate will have an operational knowledge and understanding of best practice in marketing activities. You will be experienced in planning the delivery of design, print and marketing projects, and of developing effective briefs for marketing and communications work. Able to digest complex information and subsequently communicate that information clearly and succinctly to others, you must also be able to build positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
You will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, be highly organised, and be able to prioritise your workloads amidst competing priorities and deadlines. The post requires a good understanding of the context in which Creative Scotland works and a commitment to our core values is essential.
