We’re putting a call out for folk musicians to join us as part of our forthcoming Scottish Creations tour, sharing stories and celebrating local creativity around Scotland between 19-29 May 2022.

Alongside a touring exhibition of artwork inspired by local storytelling and an hour-long concert from Scottish Ensemble, the session will feature opportunities for local musicians to play along with the Ensemble and special guest soloist, Celtic harpist and composer, Ailie Robertson.

The tour will visit six locations – Tobermory, Dunvegan, Inverness, Lerwick, Aberdeen and Dundee. Taking inspiration from each location, the second half of each performance takes the form of a folk session, with local musicians invited to join in with tunes shared in advance so you can prepare.

We’d love for you to join us in each location, so please let us know in advance if you’d like to play – although you’re also welcome to just bring your instrument along on the night.  Drop our producer Stuart a line to let him know if you’re interested or to find out more, or give him a call on 0141 332 4747.
