Musician in Residence 2022 digital opportunity from British Council and PRS Foundation

British Council and PRS Foundation are inviting expressions of interest from music creators for the latest edition of Musician in Residence. Due to the ongoing uncertainty around travel restrictions this edition of Musician in Residence will take place digitally.

For the digital residencies, proposals from music creators who can demonstrate innovate collaborations virtually are encouraged. It is important that music creators will find creative ways to engage with the places that they will be working with in a digital way. This could be by using outreach sessions with local groups, remote recordings or via a social media platform and other creative approaches.

This is an opportunity for music creators to explore and begin to write new music whilst building connections and working virtually in different regions, please see full details of all of the residencies below:

An honorarium of £3,000 will be offered and the residency will last for 4 weeks.

Music creators are invited to register their interest in applying for one of the above residencies.

Please read all residency information above complete the expression of interest form by  Monday 11 October at 10am.  A formal application process will follow the expressions of interest.
