Black Bay Studio are seeking a graduate Assistant Studio Engineer to work in their studio on the Isle of Lewis.
Black Bay is a residential recording studio on the coast of Great Bernera on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. They are looking for Graduate Assistant Engineer to be employed for a one-year placement, working at the studio in recording sessions, mixing and mastering sessions, and supporting the Producer with all aspects of the studio’s operations and activities.
Black Bay Studio is a former fish processing factory that was extensively renovated in 2017–it now houses a high-end recording facility, alongside residential accommodation for visiting bands to stay on site whilst working on their recordings. Black Bay has attracted artists and producers from across the UK and internationally and has a fast-growing reputation for excellence in the Scottish music industry.
