Beyond the Music launches new Introduction to Event Production course

Attitude is Everything’s Beyond the Music programme has announced the launch of their new Introduction to Event Production course.

Designed for Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent professionals, this 9 week course aims to help participants level up and kick start a career in the music and live events industries. It will run between the 6th of October until the 1st of December, taking place on Wednesdays between 4pm-6:15pm.

The course will cover areas including:

  • Event roles
  • Event business
  • Site and venue visits
  • Budgeting
  • Event logistics
  • Technical production
  • Event design
  • Stage management and artist liaison
  • Event planning

Introduction to Event Production will be led by Phoebe Roberts. Phoebe has 20 years of experience in the music and live events industries, working as a Live Events producer with clients including Sky Arts, Sony, Boardmasters, Boiler Room and We are the Fair. She was also Managing Director of The Wonder Staff, staffing events and festivals with trained and experienced staff. Alongside her new at Attitude is Everything, she is currently a Lead Tutor in Event Production at Big Creative Academy where she teaches and mentors the next generation of live event professionals.
