EVENT OVERVIEW: We’d like to invite you to a Music Creator sector meeting on Thursday 19 August 2021 from 2pm – 4pm.
This meeting, the first in a planned regular series of membership sector meetings, will be an opportunity to:
- Get up to speed with and discuss significant goings on in the music industry
- Meet and engage with other Music Creator members
- Ask for advice, offer advice and find opportunities for collaboration
- Flag areas of concern or highlight area where support is needed within the sector
- Learn about and contribute to the SMIA’s planned activity in the coming months
We would also like to know ahead of the meeting if there are certain topics or issues you’d like to be discussed. Similarly, if you have something you would like to present, or news you’d like to share, please let us know.

Additionally, we’re happy to now be offering one-on-one member consultations every Friday. These are opportunities to speak with the SMIA directly on a topic or matter set by you. If you’re looking for some specific advice, for support in career or project development, you just need someone to bounce ideas off, you need a rant … this time is available for you.
