People in Scotland will be able to meet their friends and family outside from tomorrow, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has confirmed.
These steps mark the beginning of Phase 1 of Scotland’s route map through and out of the crisis.
Ms Sturgeon said the move would allow people to meet with one other household at a time.
But they will need to remain outdoors, and in groups of no more than eight.
People will be allowed to sit out and sunbathe in parks and open areas, and travel within their local area for exercise.
Ms Sturgeon said the total number of people taking part in any meeting should not exceed eight, and that it was “strongly recommended that you don’t meet with more than one other household per day”.
