Greater clarification has now been provided on the business (non-domestic) rates relief (discounts) offered by the Scottish Government.
Music businesses are listed in the Leisure category covered by the scheme, which includes arts centres, cinemas, music venues, studios, live music venues and theatres. We are not sure why “music venues” and “live music venues” are both listed. We are pleased to see arts centres, cinemas, studios and theatres too; along with, of course, all of the other businesses to which they offer support.
