Music Meet Up – Wednesday 22 February – 9am – Society M

Our monthly MUSIC MEET UP returns in February after the success of the first event with Walking Heads in January – just a quick recap… Music Meet Up is a breakfast-time informal networking session for people working in or with music. It’s a chance to meet like-minded folk and to hear about an exciting or inspiring company or project.

And… there’s none more exciting than Glasgow collective NUMBERS: a long running club and label which has gone from Glasgow out to the world. The last two years have been pretty impressive for Numbers: residencies in London  as well as the long-running night in Glasgow; shows at every important dance music festival as well as a killer Sonar showcase; releasing massive underground and cross-over hits from Redinho, Mosca as well as the first solo release from Jamie XX! We’ll be joined by Richard Chater from Numbers who’ll talk more about the secret of their success.
