The Scottish Music Industry Association has opened up to members. During our initial development phase, membership is free. After 1 September 2010, membership will cost £20 per year.

Membership is open to all industry sectors including performers, composers, record labels, venues, producers, agents, managers, engineers, promoters, publicists, broadcasters, bloggers, DJs, distributors, rehearsal rooms, publishers, pluggers, developers, consultants and policy makers engaged in the business of music.

The only criteria is that you are working as  a professional within the music industry or involved as a volunteer in an event, performance or festival that is professionally managed and contributes to the creative economy.

To become a member, please fill in this form with your details. We will acknowledge receipt of your details.

We take your privacy seriously. We are a member of the UK Data Protection Register. We will send you occasional newsletters to keep you up to date about our development and ask you for feedback. We will not share your information with anyone else.

    Hi
    Would be good to work more closely with you all, having been working with some of you for some time to see a representative and support body for music businesses in Scotland.

    Although Generator’s main work is in northern England, though our regional networks such as the Music Development Agency we do work for the benefit of UK music as a whole. (and BTW, I’m a Scot so a flourishing Scottish music industry matters to me personally)
